WEDDING: MATT & CAMERON

As a wedding photographer, I've been fortunate enough to have a "front row seat" to dozens of weddings during my career. Each one has been memorable in their own specific way. What I'll take away from Matt and Cameron's early September wedding is the deep love and emotion that Matt, Cameron and their families share for one another. It's hard for me to put into words, but it was such a special day. So much love, hugs and happy tears. Oh, and these two, and their friends, they KNOW HOW TO PARTY.

Wedding: Valerie & Ryan at Misty Farm in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Valerie and Ryan are proof that not only can MSU and U-M grads get along, but they can get married, too! (They also know how to throw a heck of a party, wonder where they learned that?;)) The pair, who live in Califronia, planned a hip, country-chic wedding at Misty Farm that was not only a great time, but full of love and laughter.

One of my favorite moments from all of the wedding I shoot is right after the ceremony. The exact moment that bride and groom realize they are now husband and wife!

Val and Ryan's wedding had some of my most favorite decor ever. It was abosolutely stunning.

WEDDING: JEN & MIKE @ MISTY FARMS - Ann Arbor, Michigan

Jen and Mike are busy professionals. Jen is an advertising executive at MLive Media Group (hey, that's where I work!) and Mike recently finishined a business degree from the prestigious U-M Ross School of Business. With that new degree, Mike started a new job that has him racking up skymiles like sprinkles on a cupcake! They work a lot and they travel a lot and sometimes even for fun! ;)

When Jen and I started corresponding about her wedding she revealed that she and her fiancé Mike considered having the wedding pretty much everywhere else but Ann Arbor. They talked about Napa, the Keys and even Mexico. In the end they decided to have it here at home in Ann Arbor, where they met and fell in love. Their wedding day, May 11, 2013, was a lovely day and Misty Farms set a beautiful backdrop even when the skies sent us a few raindrops.
