Wedding: Angel & Bill in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Angel and Bill are all about family, and when they decided to get married and become one family, they made sure their kids were at the center of it. The pair live on a beautiful Ann Arbor golf course with their three children and completed several backyard projects in order to pull off a fun and seemless August wedding.

I really love this moment as Angel's daughter helps strap on her shoe as they get ready in the house. It was special that they got to share something like this together.

These fellas have all your security needs taken care of!

Bill, admidtly a little nervous, studying his vows before the big moment.

I just love the smiles on their faces, espcially Angel's, who was easily one of the most laidback and happy brides I've photographed.

There is no confusing how much Bill loves Angel. When I first showed them this photo, Bill replied, "My Angel appears to have wings."

This felt like a classic wedding movie moment, a long veil and an open sun roof!

Time to party! If you don't know Bill, one important piece of information is that he knows the words to every 80's song there ever was. Oh, and he can cut a rug!

Ending the night by sending wishes into the night sky! Love these lanterns.

Congratulations Angel & Bill! Cheers to a lifetime of adventures, happiness and great love!

Wedding: Angela & Rob at Island Park in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Angie and Rob met in 2009, the old fashioned way, at a costumed dance party at the down and dirty infamous Ann Arbor Blind Pig. ;) Rob, who works for Google and Angie, now a masters student at U-M, have had many adventures over the last five years. Angie changed careers and went back to school to study landscape architecture, they spent a summer in Chicago for an internship (and an engagement!) traveled to Japan for an amazing vacation and ultimately, worked to build an incredible relationship and life together. Friends and family joined this summer to celebrate Angie and Rob during a fantastic wedding at Island Park, in Ann Arbor, Mich.

I met Angie when I first started working for AnnArbor.com Shortly after our launch, Angie came on staff as a photographer. We've shared many memories together. From using our coats to hide from the sun as we edited photos of President Obama's visit to the Big House outside, to late night conversations over beer about work, love and life. When she asked me to consider shooting her wedding to Rob, I didn't hesitate for a minute. (This is a FACT, Angie!) I could not have been happier to be there as a friend, a witness and to document your wedding day.

Angie whipped up a little musical surprise for her vows to Rob. She pulled a ukulele out of a bag and sang a modified version of the Hall and Oats tune You Make My Dreams Come True, of which the audience sang the back up vocals. The moment was sweet and magical and totally Angie & Rob. (I am in fact listening to it as I write this up! Fitting, I think!)

I have meet few people who fit like Rob and Angie. It's not that other couples don't fit together, it's the way Rob and Angie fit. Like peanut butter and jelly, or the Earth and the sun.

Time for some party people!

I'm honored to call you friends and I know you have nothing but the best adventures ahead of you! Love you both!

Wedding: Rich & Rachel

When Rich asked me to shoot his wedding to then fiancé Rachel, I jumped at the chance. Not just because I wanted to be there to support them on their day, but also because I honestly love photographing for the people that are in my life, friends, family and co-workers alike! It's special to bear witness to milestones in their lives and to have the opportunity to capturing those moment on "film." :)

What I know about R² is that they are fun people. They met at a Halloween party several years ago, Rachel dressed as a mom and Rich a dad. A match made in heaven, people. Rachel is a nurse in real life, (and we all know nurses are awesome!) and Rich is a marketing and new media pro. I also have heard rumor of, and have not yet confirmed, that R² are parents to at least four felines. I'm fairly certain that also makes them my best friends. ;)

Rich and Rachel said their vows outdoors on the lawns at the Ann Arbor City Club here in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The bumped up the ceremony a few minutes due to the threat of a passing storm and the only drops we saw were during those first few minutes. They say that's good luck, I hear. :)

Here's a look at their June wedding:

I think Rachel looked absolutely stunning!

Rich didn't look too bad, himself!

Time for a little impromptu dance party, because, heck, they just got hitched!

Rachel spent 7 months putting together these incredibly beautiful PAPER flower bouquets.

A photobooth NEVER disappoints!

Tie for the best dance moment of the night!

Congrats Rich and Rachel!
